CHOOSING THE SONG As I personally love many different genres of music, making the choice of which song to produce a music video for has been very difficult. But I knew I had to choose a good song to visualize rather than my personal favorite tune. To start the process of choosing a song, I first went through my library of favorites and narrowed the list down to only songs that were at least one minute long but no longer than 2 minutes. I then removed any song that did not have lyrics. This is because lyrics and vocals help the listener create an image or narrative while listening. Only considering songs with lyrics will help me create a cohesive music video. This left me with 52 songs to choose from. Next, I wrote down all of the remaining songs in descending order of length.
